Listen to this episode:

Creating models of impact and instilling business design thinking can help extend your chances of being around even longer and making an even bigger dent.
— Matthew Manos

Very few people in the business and design sectors have done as much for the nonprofit community as Matthew Manos, of verynice global human-centered design and strategy studio. He has revolutionized how the design industry interacts with the nonprofit industry, by creating a way of giving back with his Give Half business model of dedicating half of his agency's work towards pro bono projects for nonprofits. With his Models of Impact toolkit, he has started a meaningful dialogue on how nonprofits can approach their business models differently, as a means to making an even bigger impact.

In our interview, we discuss how a nonprofit organization can better create a sustainable legacy by rethinking its revenue streams.

This Episode's Design Challenge:

If you are part of a nonprofit organization, download the Models of Impact Toolkit and see if you can adopt one of the impact models to better serve your audience or constituency. If you are a designer or practitioner, I encourage you to consider the pro bono model and commit to donating some of your time to a nonprofit that is close to your heart.

Share your experiences with the community in the comments section!
